Education Technology K-12 Voucher Program - K-12 Voucher Program - This grant money comes from a Settlement Agreement between California consumers and a large technology corporation (Microsoft).

Check revisions recently sent to participating districts. Vouchers may be used to purchase hardware, software, technical support, and professional development that will be issued in two categories:

  1. General Purpose Vouchers
    • Vouchers may be used to purchase specific hardware and any non-custom software for that hardware, evaluation tools, information technology (IT) services, and professional development services.
    • IT and professional development services must be obtained from approved providers.
  2. Software Vouchers

Education Technology Plans

  • As a condition to receiving any technology grants administered by the CDE, the LEA must have a current three to five year education technology plan approved by the CDE.
