What began as a “let’s see if this works” idea has become one of our most successful programs. After researching local workforce needs, we discovered a strong demand for skilled welders in our community. In response, Butte Valley Adult School launched a Welding program—and the results have been outstanding.
Our students not only loved the hands-on training, but many have also gained the skills and certifications needed to pursue careers in welding. It's a great example of how listening to our community creates real opportunities for success.
