Arts Education

The Siskiyou County Office of Education partners with schools across the county to support hands-on, standards-based art instruction. Our Art Education Program offers activities such as drawing, painting, sculpture, art field trips, and more.

Andrea Marchyok, our Arts Education Specialist, uses her training in elementary art education to develop a variety of programs for schools. SCOE, together with the CA Superintendents Arts Initiative, has also created the first strategic plan for arts education in Siskiyou County.
