What is Learn To Earn?

The Learn to Earn program (LTE) is a transition partnership program between the Siskiyou County Office of Education (SCOE) and the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR).  The LTE program is a cooperative vocational program funded by DOR that enables youth with disabilities to plan for and take steps to achieve vocational success.  This program promotes essential work habits and positive attitudes leading to successful employment, as well as providing vocational counseling, job coaching, work experience, job placement and follow-up support.  The LTE program assists youth in their school-to-work transition.  Students who qualify for this program have medical, physical, emotional, intellectual or learning disabilities that represent potential barriers to employment.
